New homes for residents in Maungtaw, Rakhine State

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu inspected reconstruction of villages for ethnic people and returnees from Bangladesh in Maungtaw District.
The officials explained about the progress in the construction in Owe Htane, Thittonena Gwa Sone, Khon Daing, Myawady and Mingyi (new) villages.
The Chief Minister said that the villages must be completed on time and meet the required standards. He also coordinated the requirements submitted by the local populace. The villages will resettle displaced ethnic nationals from Rakhine, Mro, Khami, Daingnet and Thet.
Also, the Rakhine State Chief Minister and his delegation inspected the land preparation work conducted in Ward 4, Maungtaw Town, where Hindus will be resettled, and then inspected the construction of houses near Zawtikayone monastery, and the construction of a school and houses in Kainggyi, Kyaukpandu and Inndin villages.
Later, the Chief Minister and his delegation arrived at Asia World Company in Angumaw and enquired about the building of the Maungtaw-Angumaw road.
