Myanmar, Bangladesh conduct coordinated patrols along boundary line

Security personnel from the Myanmar Border Police and Border Guards from Bangladesh conducted coordinated patrolling along the land border from border posts 44 to 45 and 34 to 36 on 13 June, from border posts 45 to 46 on 14 June, from border posts 36 to 38 on 18 June, from border posts 46 to 47 and border posts 38 to 39 on 20 June and from border posts 47 to 48 on 21 June respectively. In addition to this, security forces conducted coordinated patrols along the Naf River on 20 June.
Coordinated patrols along the land border were conducted 14 times in February, seven times in March, 16 times in May and 10 times in June, totalling 47 times, while coordinated patrols along the Naf River were conducted five times.
