Rakhine State Chief Minister receives UNHCR director and party

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu received United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Director of the Bureau for Asia and the Pacific Mr. Indrika Ratwatte, Deputy Director Mr. Bernard Doyle and party at the office of the chief minister on 2 July.
During the meeting, Rakhine State chief minister explained about the status of the construction of reception centres, the transit centre and IDP camps and works conducted by the government. Mr. Indrika Ratwatte said that humanitarian assistance would be provided under the arrangement by France. Mr. Indrika Ratwatte and party also went to Khaung Dukka IDP camp and met with officials.
