Coordination meeting of Work Committee on Resettlement and Socio-Economic development in Rakhine State was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yesterday.
At the meeting, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye said that we need to fulfill the requirements of basic needs for displaced people according to the statistic. We would supply health care services and access to safe drinking water, the sufficiency of fly-proof toilets, access to mobile clinic service, access to education, and access to temporary library in camps. Furthermore, it is necessary to closely cooperate with various ministries in order to ensure the safety for displaced people and to have the administrative team coordinated by State Government in providing the food supply to displaced people.
Afterwards, Deputy Minister and committee members explained about works to be conducted, it is learnt.
