Coordination Meeting on the work plan of the Committee for Implementation of the Recommendations on Rakhine State is held
Naypyitaw January 29Coordination Meeting on the work plan of the Committee for Implementation of the Recommendations on Rakhine State was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yesterday.
During the meeting, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye said that socio-economic development, access to citizenship, freedom of movement, closing down of IDP camps, access to education and health care services are the important tasks and social cohesion is also involved. We have to perform in order to see the development in these sectors. We also need to have targets so that we can get success. It is necessary to pay attention to responses from regional or international. And all the relevant ministries must cooperate in implementing the work plans to get the development on ground situation. As the committee has to report to people once four month, we are going to make efforts to submit the fourth report. Furthermore, we need to perform the work plan with United Nations organizations, regional or international voluntary organizations.
