မင်္ဂလာပါခင်ဗျာ။ လန်ဒန်မြို့၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်သံရုံးက ကြိုဆိုနှုတ်ခွန်း ဆက်သအပ်ပါတယ်။
မြန်မာသံရုံးအနေဖြင့် ဗြိတိန်နိုင်ငံအပြင် ပူးတွဲတာဝန်ယူထားတဲ့ ဒိန်းမတ်၊ အိုင်ယာလန်၊ ဆွီဒင်နိုင်ငံများနှင့် နိုင်ငံရေး၊ စီးပွားရေး၊ လူမှုရေး နှင့် ကောင်စစ်ဆိုင်ရာ ဆက်ဆံရေးများကို တိုးမြှင့်တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ရန် ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသကဲ့သို့ အဆိုပါနိုင်ငံများရှိ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား တိုင်းရင်းသားညီအစ်ကို မောင်နှမများ၏ အကျိုးစီးပွားများကိုလည်း ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက် ပေးလျက်ရှိပါတယ်။
မြန်မာ-ဗြိတိန် နှစ်နိုင်ငံ သံတမန်ဆက်ဆံရေးကို လွတ်လပ်ရေးမရမီ ၇-၇-၁၉၄၇ ရက်နေ့က စတင်ထူထောင်ခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာသံရုံးကိုလည်း လန်ဒန်မြို့ 19A Charles Street, Mayfair, London W1J 5DX တွင် ၁၉၅၁ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာလမှ စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
မြန်မာသံရုံးအဆောက်အဦကို ထုံးကျောက် Bath Stone များဖြင့် ၁၉၀၆ခုနှစ်က တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ မြေအောက်ထပ်အပါအဝင် (၇)ထပ်တိုက် အဆောက်အဦးတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ယခုအခါ အဆိုပါ အဆောက်အဦသည် ဗြိတိန်နိုင်ငံ၏ Grade II Heritage List စာရင်းတွင် ပါဝင်တဲ့ ရှေးဟောင်းအမွေအနှစ် အဆောက်အဦး တစ်ခုအဖြစ် တည်ရှိနေပါတယ်။
ယနေ့အထိ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးပေါင်း (၂၀)ဦး တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့ပြီး လက်ရှိအချိန်၌ သံအမတ်ကြီးနေရာ လစ်လပ်လျက်ရှိပြီး သံအမတ် ဦးထွန်းအောင်ကျော် က သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံအဖြစ် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်လျက်ရှိပါတယ်။
ဗြိတိန်နိုင်ငံတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား (၁၀,၀၀၀)ခန့်ရှိပြီး၊ လွန်ခဲ့သည့် နှစ်များမှစ၍ အလုပ်လုပ်ရန် နှင့် ပညာသင်ကြားရန် အတွက် ဗြိတိန်နိုင်ငံသို့ လာရောက်သူဦးရေ တိုးတက်လျက်ရှိနေပါ တယ်။ မြန်မာသံရုံးအနေဖြင့် လစဉ် နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်အသစ် ပျှမ်းမျှ (၁၀၀)ခန့် နှင့် ပြည်ဝင်ဗီဇာ ပျှမ်းမျှ (၂၅၀)ခန့် ထုတ်ပေးလျက်ရှိသည့် အပြင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများအကျိုးကို ရှေးရှု၍ အခြား ကောင်စစ်ဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စရပ်များကိုလည်း အချိန်နှင့်တစ်ပြေးညီ ဆောင်ရွက် ပေးလျက်ရှိပါတယ်။

The Myanmar Embassy in London promotes bi-lateral political, economic, social and consular relations with the United Kingdom as well as Denmark, Ireland and Sweden as non-resident Embassy. It also looks after the welfare of the Myanmar citizens in those countries.
Myanmar-UK diplomatic relations dated back to 7 July 1947 prior to Myanmar’s independence and its Embassy was opened in September 1951 at 19A Charles Street, Mayfair, London W1J 5DX. The Chancery is a Grade II Heritage Listed seven-story building and was built in 1906 with bath stones.
There has been 20 Myanmar Ambassadors to date. Currently, the Ambassador position is vacant and Minister U Htun Aung Kyaw is acting as Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy.
It is estimated that there are about 10,000 Myanmar nationals in the UK and the number is growing due to increased number of people coming to work and to study in the UK. The Embassy issues about 100 new Myanmar passports and about 250 visas to enter Myanmar.
