State Counsellor attends the meeting of Central Committee for Implementation of Peace, Stability and Development in Rakhine State
Naypyitaw, February 26
Chairperson of the Central Committee for Implementation of Peace, Stability and Development in Rakhine State and State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi addressed the coordination meeting 1/2018 of the committee, which was held at the Presidential Palace meeting hall on 26 February.
The attendees at the meeting explained the status of implementing the decisions of the past meeting and future works, the present situation in Rakhine State, the effects of the international community on Rakhine State affairs, the cases sent to the central committee by the Ministry of the Office of the State Counsellor and the Office of the Union Government, the works conducted regarding security matters as well as immigration matters, and the works of the committee and the UEHRD. Then, they discussed and suggested works for the implementation of peace, stability and development in Rakhine State and other general matters.
Lastly, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi gave a concluding speech.
